Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st 1977) is a popular American comic and singer. Her most well-known work was having been a regular participant of NBC's sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. She has since starred in shows like ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying of Northwestern University when she began her acting career. Her first course was a voice-major, then changed to theater studies following her participation in the college's improv group. And that spirit has followed her through a number of roles supporting such as the overly-controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the zany Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite.
